Why We Need Conscience Protections

Rep. Diane Black has written H.R. 940, the “Healthcare Conscience Rights Act,” protecting the conscience rights of those who resist coercive involvement in the sexual revolution’s culture of death. It’s a real issue for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and others in health care as well as others in, say, business, for whom their consciences forbid participation in abortion and such. It’s one thing for the SCOTUS to have ruled in 1973 and 1992 that someone has a right to an abortion; it seems to me quite another to force others to participate in it: what about their freedom? And so here’s a video showing persons whom the HHS Mandate harms and who would protected by H.R. 940:
