The Benedictine sisters who sponsor the University of Mary at Annunciation Monastery right next door are having a “Come and See” weekend for women considering religious life:

Is God calling YOU to become a Benedictine Sister of Annunciation Monastery? Come and See!

Participate in the vibrant prayer and community life of the Benedictine Sisters of Annunciation Monastery! A “Come and See” live-in vocation retreat will be held the weekend of Sat., Nov. 10 (11 a.m.) to Sun., Nov. 11 (1 p.m.)

Experience the Liturgy of the Hours (daily prayer) with the sisters, reflection, recreation, conversation and meals with the sisters. No charge. Pre-registration is required.

Note: If you can’t make it this weekend, set up another time with Sister Gerard Wald, vocations director.

For more information and to pre-register, contact Sister Gerard at (701) 425-9455 or (701) 355-8909 or e-mail: gerwald@umary.edu.

I’m especially appreciative of the support I’ve received from Sr Nancy Miller and Sr Hannah in particular in my many tasks at U-Mary. This is a great group of sisters, so if you’re interested in religious life in the beautiful, rugged setting that is the hills of southwestern ND, you should consider their community.
