Just received word today that my monograph, The New Isaac: Tradition and Intertextuality in the Gospel of Matthew, is about to be reprinted (presumably in time for SBL). I’ll get a chance to go over the proofs, as I had some minor changes — typos fixed and the like.
It’s really gratifying. The past couple years — the one leaving Wheaton and the other relocating and getting started at Mary all while becoming Catholic — have been crazy for all the obvious reasons. And so scholarship has suffered while I’ve focused on family and my work with the Christian Leadership Center and teaching. So it’s nice to have something coming out, even if it’s a simple reprint.
